Born in Chile, and raised in Canada, Nino relocated to New York to begin his career under the mentorship of photography legend Bob Richardson. Nino's work was first published in British VOGUE, a fashion story featuring long-time collaborator Gisele Bundchen. Commissions for Arena Homme Plus, THE FACE, POP, V Magazine and the New York Times Magazine soon followed.

Nino has worked with Hollywood's finest including, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell and Tom Cruise. In the music world his clients include, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Rihanna and Jay Z to name a few.
